TIPWG facilitates collaboration on socially acceptable, environmentally responsible and economically viable pesticide use across the forestry industry.
- To create and develop a database on pesticides and associated information (SDS, labels, approved use and application);
- To develop standard operating procedures (SOP) with respect to pesticide usage, including minimising pesticide reliance and implementing IPM practices and biocontrol;
- To advise on which generics are not polluted with contaminants.
